Tyndall’s fixed interest and Australian equities capabilities have both been recognised in Money magazine’s ‘Best of the Best’ Awards 2009. The Tyndall Australian Bond Fund was awarded the Gold Winner of the Australian Fixed Interest Fund Award, and the Tyndall Australian Share Portfolio received the ‘Hot Fund of the Year 2009’ Award.
Managing Director of Tyndall/Suncorp Investment Management, Brett Himbury said that achieving these accolades, particularly during such a challenging year for investment managers, is a tribute to the skills, expertise and experience of Tyndall’s fixed interest and Australian equity teams.
“Both teams have been either a winner or a finalist in the last four Money magazine annual awards, a track record that shows consistency year after year, and highlights their ability to perform well for investors, regardless of market conditions,” Brett said.
“We are fortunate that Bob Van Munster, head of Tyndall intrinsic value equities, and Roger Bridges, head of Suncorp/Tyndall fixed income, and their teams, are extremely skilled managers, having experienced a wide range of market conditions, and this has stood them in good stead in managing investors money during the extremely difficult market conditions.”
To promote its investment capabilities and the awards, Tyndall ran two advertisements (click here to view ad one, and ad two) in the December 2008 issue of Money Magazine.
