The combined Tyndall/Suncorp investment management business has recruited Justin Cowper as head of institutional.
In this role Mr Cowper will manage relationships with institutional clients and consultants of the combined Suncorp/Tyndall asset management business.
He will lead a dedicated institutional team supporting the market, including John Hamer and Roger Prezens.
Mr Cowper has been involved in institutional business development for the last decade, most recently as director of institutional sales at Principal Global Investors.
At Principal he was responsible for implementing institutional sales strategy, and developing strong relationships for the business. He is a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst and has a Bachelor of Economics.
Mr Brett Himbury, managing director of the combined Suncorp/Tyndall asset management business, said the business has a heritage of success and Justin’s appointment further strengthens its business and leadership team.
“We have highly talented management and investment teams, disciplined and successful investment philosophies, and now have over $28 billion under management across Australia and New Zealand.
“Justin has an outstanding track record in building business relationships and delivering results in the institutional market.
