Tyndall has won the Australian Fixed Interest category in the 2010 S&P Fund Awards.

Tyndall was also a finalist in the Award’s Australian Equities - Large Cap and Group Finalist in the Fund Manager of the Year categories.

The S&P Awards recognise those fund managers that S&P believes are “more likely to outperform their peers and investment objectives through the full investment cycle”. The Awards methodology is based on a qualitative assessment of specific investment-management capabilities within a sector, rather than being based on past performance of individual funds.

Mr Roger Bridges, Tyndall's head of fixed income, said that it is a particularly rewarding achievement for the team in light of the challenging market conditions.

“We have a very strong and experienced team in place and a strong track record in fixed income management that has proven itself throughout different market cycles and economic conditions,” Mr Bridges said.
